PARTICIPATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WINNING OR LOSING

Image
Participation is more important than winning or losing because it increases our knowledge about that particular game. We should not participate only for winning, if we lose the game also we should not lose our motive power.  Nowadays everyone participates in games only for holding the first prize, if they get the second prize also the are not satisfied. We should participate so that we can tell that 'I have participated but didn't receive any prize' but if we don't participate we can even tell anything.  I have participated in more than 10 recitation program but I lose all of them but one day for recitation I got the third prize and I was Astonished that day when the judges announced my name.  That day I learnt that e very thing in our life teaches us something and makes us more mature and capable of dealing with problems.  After losing so much times also I didn't lose my willpower and that is why I got that third prize that day.  Hence, I strongly believ...

“A kind word”

Image
In a bustling city where people hurried past each other without a second glance, there was an old, rundown bookstore tucked away in a quiet corner. Mrs. Thompson, the owner, spent her days surrounded by dusty shelves and forgotten stories. Despite the neglect of her shop, Mrs. Thompson greeted every customer with a warm smile and a kind word. One rainy afternoon, a young girl named Lily stumbled into the bookstore seeking shelter from the downpour. Lily's clothes were soaked, and her spirits were low. Mrs. Thompson welcomed her with open arms, offering a cozy corner by the fireplace and a cup of hot cocoa. As Lily sipped her cocoa, Mrs. Thompson noticed the sadness in her eyes. With a gentle touch, she began to share stories of hope and resilience from the pages of her favourite books. With each tale, Lily's frown softened, replaced by a glimmer of hope. Before leaving, Lily thanked Mrs. Thompson for her kindness. With tears in her eyes, she confessed that she had been strugg...

Yin and Yang

Image
Yin and Yang is a Chinese philosophical concept that describes how obviously opposite on contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one anther. In Chinese cosmology, the universe creates itself out of a primary chaos of material energy organized into the cycles of Yin and Yang and formed into objects and lives. Yin is the receptive and Yang is the active principle, seen in all forms of change and differences such as the annual cycle (winter and summer), the landscape (north-facing shade and south-facing brightness), sexual coupling (male and female), the formation of both mean and women as characters and sociopolitical history (disorder and order). Yin and Yang represents good in every evil and evil in every good.

A postman - An emotion for everyone

Image
Earlier when a postman came for delivering a letter we felt so excited i.e. who has send the letter, the purpose behind writing the letter and the content of the letter , etc. When a postman comes he brings with him all the happiness of the world in his small bag usually of khaki colour. But nowadays the era of technology has kept us devoid of this ancient happiness, where the art of writing, penning down one’s emotions is almost lost. We have now become a slave in the hands of technology. A single click, few words have replaced the joy and the satisfaction which a postman used to bring along with his simply city. I wish I could fly back to those ancient time where the postman with a twinkle in his eyes and a hand full of happiness used to drop a letter in my letter box or or ring the door bell calling out in his unique voice “ Postman”.
